Ayhan Additive Manufacturing Company started its work in 2018 to develop new technologies for making additives and provide specialized 3D printing services by professors and graduates of technical engineering fields. After the successful experience of setting up an additive manufacturing laboratory at the University of Tehran, located in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, this company was established as a spin-off company.

The idea of ​​this work was formed in 2014 by Dr. Amin Jabbari and Dr. Karen Abrinia. The first specialized laboratory for additive manufacturing in the country called AMLab was established at the University of Tehran.

In the meantime, in cooperation with the Fund for the Protection of Researchers and Technologists of the United States, the US Patent for this device,​​​​​​​ entitled: "ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING APPARATUS USING SEMI-SOLID EXTRUSION OF WIRE" was done.
With 3D printing, you can bring your creative ideas into actual objects that can be touched, tested, or shared. Ayhan AM Company intends to provide the first product of metal desktop printer that is needed by all customers who can not afford an industrial powder printer and to offer a wide range of products and services to the eager industry in the country and the region.
